Purple shinies are really cool as well though. I really want to get a shiny vaporeon with acid armour, so I can call them Hydrangea - Ajisai if Hydrangea wont fit 'cause weeb.

I banked in a venomoth from OR, then masuda bred using a 6IV chinese larvitar I got on WT. Swapped in every time I got a female with more IVs than the last, so the family tree is a disgusting mess but we don't think about that. Got seven perfects along the way as well.

She's only missing special attack because of course it's the one stat I care about, but I'm probably just gonna use a bottlecap on her.

Thanks! they're legitimately some of my favourite flowers as well, and vaporeon is my fav poke.

I masuda method too so I feel your pain. I usually keep a perfect IV female incase I ever want to torture myself again breeding for it. At least in-game it doesnt matter too much, and venomoth gets quiver dance.

Theyre definitely great. Its so interesting how they change color just because of soil pH. So many beautiful shades, but Im a huge fag for pink/purple/blue color schemes .

Yeah it was an ordeal, but this is the first time I've ever bothered breeding pokemon with any seriousness because they've finally implemented an IV checker in game.The calculators were always too much hassle and I've always suspected they're inaccurate to the point of being useless. Plus like you say, it's not particularly important ingame, and I'd never played pvp before this gen anyway.

Also just realised I typed Larvitar before when I actually meant Larvesta. Derpderpderp.
