Verlisify's not hard to dissect: he's just fighting for two reasons:
1. It gets him views and
2. He's one of the poor souls whose identity revolves entirely around pokemon and nothing else. He has to fight for these games because otherwise he'll have an identity crisis since it's based on nothing if these games flop.
As for /vp/, it's always been a toxic cesspool of shit here. I only came back for the gen 2-5 nostalgia threads and it's seriously taken a toll. Just leave while you still can. They've fought in the past, they're fighting now, they will continue to fight. There's no stopping it, only dissociating from it.
