Reposting from previous thread. I'd like to come up with a fun Fairy gym but there's so few to chose from and I'm drawing a blank on a fun theme/aesthetic.

Dark type. Gym is a large casino with slot machines, dice games, and cards. Reaching the gym leader requires you to win various games, losing starts a trainer battle.

Gym's aesthetic and personality emphasises wealth and slight sleaziness, but not outright criminality. The dealers are probably cheating but no one's getting hurt. A flock of Murkrow can be seen nesting on the gym's roof from outside.

>Team
Pic is initial match (geared for around the 6th gym) and post-game rematch. Strategy relies mostly around the irritating side of Dark type Pokemon. Liepard abuses Swagger and Foul Play; Spiritomb uses Trick to give your Pokemon a Lagging Tail and sets up Calm Mind; Drapion abuses Acupressure. In addition to Dark types other trainers in the gym also use Persian and Cofagrigus.

An NPC in the gym will trade you various gems (the type boosting gems from Gen V) for rare items like Nuggets

In the gym's basement you can find some tattered old uniforms with prominent 'R' symbols - the gym leader will give you a Rare Candy to keep quiet.
