I've been watching SM between the Twitch broadcasts of Kanto and for gods sake they might as well merge all the companions into one character since they're just a bunch of vagabond traits given form.
Serena and the SM girls are boring and don't seem to have opinions that defy ash at all. The boys have the same problem but there's no precedent for Ash having a harsh disagreement with the guys.
Serena is just "Shipping" the character, Lillie is weeb bait with the most annoying fucking voice. What even is the point of Lana and Mallow? What are 5 distinct things about any of these characters? Why do people fanboy over them aside from their designs and basic demeanor?
