I should note that I'm an autismo who has several rules for my own teams including not using the same ones twice if possible, and using Pokemon from that region in some way.
I've had to pre-plan teams for each gen 4 and 5 game as a result and intend to do the same for other gens.Going through HeartGold making a living dex as I go, 1% encounters have become the bane of my existence. My team's named after a group of friends of mine, with most of them relating to them in either name or some other way.
