On PS4 people were using cloud saves to reset if they lost because there are rest areas in between levels in Dead Cells. It’s to prevent people from cheating.

You can't transfer Mew from GO to LGPE.
They specifically set this up so that you're required to get Poke Ball Plus.

Switch cards are read only to save money on production costs. ALL Switch games save to system memory.

Technology fails retard. nothing is perfect.

Not to mention the games themselves can fuck up because they're also not perfect.

South Park the Fractured But Whole on Switch, for example, had a cutscene load glitch that was corrupting many people's saves.

But yeah... I figured this is what would happen though I was hoping it wouldn't. If Gen 8 does the same I am not buying it at all. Not risking losing shit from the last 15 years just because they fuck something up or the system fucks up.

The only possible way this is salvagable is if Bank is part of the online and built directly into the game as the PC and you need to connect to online at the title screen to access it so they're off the system.

And that's not likely to happen either because then it defeats the purpose of it being handheld since you won't have access to the PC when playing offline.

I told retards who were hyped about this """feature""" that they will never let you store saves of games youd actually want to have a backup for. It was the exact same shit with the 3DS. Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter etc. all not supported. Except now you have to pay for it. What a joke.

You don't know how big of a shitshow the switch is when it comes to basic features. If this was any other console you might have a point, but cloud saves are the only way to back up your data in case something happens which isn't limited to your console being lost,stolen, or broken.
