They're not making games from scratch for the 3DS anymore so I hope no one would seriously believe this.

Ports of games also going to Switch, remakes with existing assets, sequels with existing assets, and localizing games from three years ago are not brand new games. They're bottom of the barrel shit they can use to milk the end of the system's life.

Nothing major will come for the 3DS next year that doesn't fall into one of those categories and all 3DS variants will stop production by the end of next year leaving only the 2DS and New 2DS XL until god knows when like the Wii Mini which only just stopped production last year. Screencap if you like.
