>>36494851>Pokemon and humans can fight with each other.I'd be rather excited to see how they would make it work. I think it'd work nicely as an alternative pair up system where, at the start of the chapter, you'd be able to pick a Pokemon and pair it with another character. Only the human/manakate/taguel/whatever would be able to fight, and both unit would die/retreat when defeated, but it would yield stat boosts and a chance to parry an attack/attack, and both unit would get the same amount of exp, albeit split in two, at the end of the fight.
When not paired, a Pokemon would act as a regular unit.
>Both popular character and OCs.As long as they have a coherent explanation as to why older characters/Pokemon were introduced, I'd be fine with it. It'd definitely be tricky to pull off, seeing as Pokemon and Fire Emblem are two very different franchises, but I think they could make it work. I'm very leniant when it comes to video-games stories, so I'm not really the best person to ask
>Dating sim mechanic.I actually like the dating sim. Not in a "Das mah waifu ! I want to pet her" kinda way, but I like the dialogues themselves. Fates/Awakening had some interesting/cute/charming dialogues in those sections, and it's way mire conveniant than having two units talk on the battlefield. I think they could implement it like that :
-Human characters are bonding via talking, develloping their character.
-Pokemon and humans would be bonding via a Pokemon-Amie style minigame.
