I know Pokemon has always been aimed at children, but they're being way more blatant, upfront and condescending about it now. Especially in the marketing.
It started in Gen 7 with the Z move names all being named by a 8 year old slamming together words he thinks sound cool and powerful, as well as making them need to be activated with wacky lel randem dance moves.
Now the child who names the moves is HALF that age and calling them things like Pika Papow and buzzy buzzy...
It honestly makes the Kanto basedboys even more annoying. I don't care that children are going to enjoy or buy these games. Who cares if a child who doesn't know any better enjoys a mediocre to bad game? I don't.
But knowing that these grown ass men will buy multiple copies of both games, as well as the limited edition console (despite probably already owning a switch) genuinely gives me second hand embarrassment.
Is being autistic for the brand still enough for you to buy them despite them being made for single celled organisms at this point?
