The Battle Frontier has him using his reserves like crazy.
Sinnoh has him use his reserves at the League.
Unova was the hardreset which fucked up the series and they wound up brining back Charizard to try and save it but it didn't help at all.
Then Kalos they just forgot to do call backs and things since they were so focused on what they were doing. It was an oversight as said by the director of the series..
Alola has had cameos by Bulbasaur and a few other Ash mons. But whether they get to come to Alola or not is up in thhe air right now.
>>36510783That's a complete lie, Ash calls in Charizard AFTER the Unova League has already finished and the series is going into filler hell and a shitty Team Plasma arc. Not to mention Charizard does shit all during it's time with Ash in Unova.
