What would it take for you to 180 on these games?

It doesn't matter how unrealistic, list off what it would take for you to be interested in these games.

Hardmode: Everything currently announced has to stay how it is. Splishy splash, GO catching and all.

A hard mode that takes advantage of the 2v1 co-op gimmick would be a fresh experience for pokemon.

I can't beat hard mode since the world map has been released and it's exactly like the Kanto we've already played.
Really, that's all I'd want out of these games. Redo every city and route and breathe new life into it. Modernize the region. Saffron City is supposed to be the equivalent to Tokyo, the most important city in Japan, right? Make it FEEL that way. If I could look at any map and think, "Wow, that's really the same place?", that'd be enough to make me buy the game no matter what else.

Nothing, I’m sick of Kanto and the only way I’d bite is if they were true sprawling 3D reimaginings of the original game. Not this shitty grid based map from two decades ago with somehow less content than the originals. Your Pikachu or Eevee is actually a businessman obsessed with the number 34 (and terrified of the number 43) who looks like Pikachu or Eevee. Honestly, I was about OK with this up untill the gyms had a "You need a pokemon that's strong against this gym" requirement.

-Ditch the ORAS "square puddles" overworld design philosophy. Stop trying to make it a literal translation and redesign it for the third dimension. SM look nice enough. Its not like they cant do it.
-If they're holding true to 151 pokemon then put far more effort into making those 151 look and feel better. Specifically the animations. Bring back the life that stadium and colloseum had in their animations rather than the stock bullshit they're currently using. Blastoise still doesn't use its cannons for fucks sake. Unacceptable.
-More than one save file you fucking kikes.
-The ability to make the tutorial horseshit optional. Look, gamefreak, I'm fine with you wanting the teletubbies audience, honest! But put an option in for that not to be in my face, even if its not the default.

To get mew you actually have to do an ingame story event or special location to get mew, using pokeball plus just unlocks the location. (It's faraway island or mew under the truck).

Well considering my current stance is that I am sure that the games will be subpar at best, but I am still planning on getting them. I don't think it would be possible to 180 into thinking the games are gonna be great, but deciding to not get them
