They also might drop third version of gen 8 and do 2020 as a break year which we havent one in a while.

I swear to God, I will quit this series if they go back to Kanto for EVERY FUCKING ANNIVERSARY.
Also, there will be a mob of angry fans if they make Johto Let's GO games before Sinnoh remakes

Personally i think they will. They didnt decide to start a new series of games to wait several years to release a second installment. 2021 is three years after LGPE so coupled with the annivesary sounds like a perfect moment to release Lets Go Johto

Plus I've a theory that since HG/SS and them finding out a number of the newer/younger staff had grown up playing Gold/Silver originally, they've tried to have new hires/younger staff members working on remakes that they would have originally played. They have a recruitment advert out since last year for 2019 graduates interested in working in video games and wouldn't you know it, running the numbers leaves them self-same graduates at or around the age of playing D/P/Plt upon release (the advert also has a full Lucario art piece from D/P/Plt accompanying it to boot). Sinnoh is getting its remake, just like Kanto, Johto and Hoenn before did.

....they had the annivesary and 2 years later they're releasing Kanto games

You dont get it. They're not doing test release with these games, they've already implied there will be more. All the new people and genwunners that will come with LGPE will want next game relatively soon. 2019 is already stated to be gen 8. They wont miss out on the annivesary you can bet on it
