>>36521315I feel there wasn't too much to add to Hoenn. It is a region to explore, not to have a lot of technological updates like Kanto or Johto. Dexnav and the new Pokemon were pretty entertaining to play with as well as looking for Mega Stones. I feel something like Pokeathlon would have been amazing, but the games were cool and way more entertaining to explore and play than the original RS. Emerald's Battle Frontier is a great concept but was really RNG-based, which makes it hard to actually enjoy except for 2 or 3 facilities (including Battle Tower).
At least that's how I feel Hoenn. I really like the games and the characters were kinda improved.
