>>36522578>Introduces tall grass mecahnic to discourage bike use.Oh great, grass that isn't special in any way other than making the game slower. And you hate on snow routes?
>Mimic trainers copy your movements in the grass to make it harder for you to avoid trainers. There's like 3 of them and I miss them every time.
>Once you leave the grass, you are welcomed by two options: Either surfing on the river, or heading straight up the path. You can't surf up the river at all. You see the rocks and waterfalls, don't you?
>Surf route has Secret Base and is blocked off, but you can still see the Acro Bike-mandated path. Oh great, you can see something that you could see anyways by just walking up a few steps. So glad I used Surf.
>Dirt road has a house for you to explore and access to a secret base and bike path.So a house is "exploration" now? You're really grasping for straws.
>Crossing Acro Bike-mandated path grants you access to two Secret Bases. There's secret bases all over Hoenn. What makes this route so special? This is like, the only point you brought up so far.
>Going up the dirt path, you are forced to cross a bridge and you are exposed to everything you've missed on the other path. You can see a waterfall, but you can't cross it for now. You could see all of that anyways while walking up (and explore it with the Acro Bike where you get those secret bases you love so much) and the Waterfall is completely inaccessible. I'm starting to think you don't know this route as well as you say you do.
>You go into the tall grass again, but you see another branching path. One path has no tall grass but you need the Mach Bike to cross. The other is the grass, but you don't need the Mach Bike. This is cool. However, the branched path is so short it basically doesn't matter anyway.
>You have 3 options after that. Nobody ever does anything besides the third option. Honestly, all this post says is "I like secret bases". Not amazing, just okay.
