>>36531988>>36532043The writer for this episode could have spared Braviary or given it enough resilience to survive a Heavy Slam, but no, they wanted to show off Incineroar here. The fact that this entire Team Rocket scenario was written for Incineroar to shine is proof that it is getting shilled in the anime even when it doesn't have to. It's one thing if this is a Battle Royal and Masked Royal is the one doing this, but no, this is Kukui no longer being in disguise sending out Incineroar to finish Gozu off.
>>36533417I am literally saying it is a shillmon, you fucking moron. Incineroar had no reason to appear here; Braviary, Hypno, and Alakaam could have found some way to defeat Mega Aggron. But the fact of the matter is, Mega Aggron made all three of those Pokemon non-factors, and the screenplay was deliberately written so Incineroar would get the starring role here. That's the point I'm trying to make: that Incineroar is shilled to defeat a Mega Evolution and use its Z-Move again when we've known from past events like this that a protagonist's Pokemon can have unrealistic endurance and stamina, and then be able to completely defeat an overwhelming opponent from the antagonist's side. (For example, Pikachu, Charizard, and Greninja overwhelming Lysandre's Mega Gyarados.)
