What I don't like is that the only way to get it is beg your mom to take you to some random place at some random time (both of which you probably have no idea will happen as a child), and even then a lot of the events only gave you a chance of getting one. I don't really know what a better solution would have been without downgrading their rarity. Mew wouldn't have been nearly as cool if it was just tucked away in some cave that nags at you the entire game like Mewtwo. I don't like that "fact," it drove me fucking nuts. I just like the idea of mythic pokemon.
