It's not really about if they're mainline or not anymore, which I think most people would agree they are. It's about how good they're actually going to be, and it seems like, at least on /vp/, people think the game is going to suck hard and kill the franchise.

You do know that the anime literally exists to promote the pokemon games right? They showcase almost every game in some way in the anime.

Also, I don't know why anyone thinks LGPE are spinoffs, GF made them, they don't make spinoffs, they make mainline.
