A serious retelling of each pokemon game, the main characters are the protagonists of each Pokemon game (Red travels alone in the first series). Each episode is based on the characters traveling to a new town, taking on a gym, etc; no filler episodes. The battles aren’t cheesy and Pokemon don’t just win with the power of friendship, the protagonist will lose multiple times before winning in harder battles. Move effectiveness carries over from the games so no bullshit like electric hitting ground types. Skips over Gen 6 and 7 and pretends the Pokemon from those gens never existed. Pikachu has little presence. Team Rocket are an actual threat, as well as the other evil teams. The perfect anime.

You know how sometimes the anime battles are cool, but only for like 5 seconds?
I want that cool part but for the whole episode. just fanservice for fight scenes and underrepresented pokemon. a 10 minute high budget anime battle between maractus and spinda, yknow

One or two-cour adaptation of Explorers of Sky. The dialogue and direction would be heavier than the games and targeted towards an older demographic but still be appropriate for kids, although maybe not young children. No bullshitting around the plot devices of disappearing from existence or becoming fugitives. It would tackle head-on the themes of loss, fighting for a cause greater than oneself and what makes life meaningful.

Pokemon isekai. The protagonist is an overworked salaryman that dies while playing pokemon and wakes up in the pokemon world. As pokemon is literally his only hobby he knows a lot about it but the world constantly surprises him because the games only represent a fraction of the world (i.e., towns and cities have realistic numbers of buildings and inhabitants, routes aren't the only way to leave town, raising pokemon is actually kinda difficult, etc.). Early on he realizes that he can travel to Saffron City, which is based on his hometown. He decides to travel to Saffron and see if there's a pokemon world version if himself and the OL he had a crush on I the real world. Can he do it, /vp/?

rocket spin off. it's what every kid has always wanted. follow the exploits and troubles of the best characters before they met ash, and a game where they let you join team rocket and steal pokemon, and probably end up getting redeemed and saving the world because it's a kids game.

Every episode would be in a different era

his companions would be:
>A prehistoric caveboy they meet in their first travel. He doesn't speak anything other than some grunts, and usualy just acts like an wild animal, but he's pretty strong, even for a kid
>A Tyrunt who is the cavevoy's pet pokemon
>A Robot butler/bodyguard who was designed by their scientist grandfather to follow and protect them everywhere. He's the one who provides them with every tech they need, from universal translators to communicators, space suits, and any other item they would need for a specific episode.

It is the year 2331. 250 years prior, a nuclear war has inflicted the Earth with Radiation, but a scientist built a device called the Purified Protection Zone, which protected a small portion of the earth from radiation so Humans could still live on Earth. Only he and few other people knew of his idea as he wanted to keep it a secret from the rest of the currently evacuating world.

Then we have Zeke, our Protagonist. He and he has no human friends (he hates them anyways) or even any real friends, but he gets along very well with Pokemon. His technical best friend is a Whimsicott named Amy living in the same neighborhood as him. He likes to draw (but he's terrible at it) and scavenge the abandoned cities of the past in search of artifacts to understand life before the war. He also likes to carry around a golf club with him wherever he goes.

After a rainstorm destroyed a nearby town, a family of three moves into Zeke's neighborhood: a mother, a father, and a daughter. The daughter, Melissa, is physically incapable of speaking, so she isn't into socializing. Zeke and Melissa eventually fall in love (ran out of room for text)

I would want a show that follows the villains of Pokemon. Filler episodes would be about the villains of spin-offs, like Darkrai, Dusknoir, and Team Snagem.

It goes in-depth about each team's developments, aspirations, and the back-stories of the members. It can be comedic, but it'll be more mature in its theming. None of that edgy shit though.

Each team gets about 5 episodes total, in order to keep the pacing nice and brisk.
