If anything, the whole Town thing makes me even MORE curious as to what gen 8 will be like.

What will it even be? Will it really be new and exciting and not riddled with dumb decisions? Will it be the same old Pokemon stuff yet again? How much of Let's Go's influence will be in it?

Replacing random encounters, Pokemon following you, and riding on your Pokemon are like, the only things in Let's Go that I actually wanna see in the main games.

Gen 8 will be just as haphazardly rushed and cashgrabby as SM were, possibly even worse because there's no evidence aside from PR Speak that GameFreak has even started development on Gen 8 because of how many projects they've been juggling through and overseeing in general ever since Switch Devkits started getting sent out back when they were just barely figuring out how 3D works on 3DS.

I'm torn on how I feel about Towns. If it's bad then we just know that Game Freak is incompetent and there is little hope for another good Pokemon game, if it's good then we know that Game Freak just doesn't care about Pokemon because it's free money for zero effect and there is little hope for another good Pokemon game.
