October and November will obviously focus on LGPE. Starting early next year they'll clearly focus on building up Gen 8 hype.

Possibly the last hope would sometime between December-Q1/earlyQ2 2018 but it looks less and less likely...

February was always the goal. Unless, given the pattern of movies for this gen, they decided to fuck showing us anything in February and moved to April instead. That's just for movie mons, though, and the game announcement itself was still either in January or February.
