Why cant pokemon be as realistic as spiderman on ps4 graphics wise? I just bought this game and the open world is fukin insane. Why is gamefreak still giving us shit every year while other developers go all out...

I have a lot more interest in playing a new pokemon game than spiderman game, no matter what the graphics are, and I think most people are the same way
spiderman isn't really a game for gamers, at any rate, so it isn't really like a developer has gone all out for their fans here either

I'm still considering whether to buy it or not, myself, will have to see how the game lets go to on without pikachu/eevee, but it looks like a pretty different experience than frlg if that's your concern

I think it got the backlash it has recieved because LGPE is a mobile knock off tier game and Sakurai went all in with Smash Ultimate which makes Pokémon look like a waste of money in comparison.
