I'm not typically a shiny hunter, but I'm going to say Ledian because I was actually trying to find a damned not even shiny Goomy that just wasn't showing up. The fact that I was able to chain a shiny before finding a Goomy was pretty absurd. On the next attempt I got a Castform, before finally finding a Goomy on the third attempt.

Its been a while since I did a full odds hunt and honestly barely have the time to do this anymore. To my surprise the longest was actually bounsweet which lasted for several months and it was the first time I lost count on my eggs/SRs.

Depends on when it comes out here. If it even does. I prefer it purple like everything else(unless already pink). Its a great-looking shiny though so getting an event one means not having to hunt a shiny for a pokemon I honestly prefer not be shiny or to have its shiny and default palettes swapped.

An SOS hunt of a pokemon with a call rate of 15 in USUM usually take two to four hours, while pre-Gen 6 full odds random encounter hunts can take literal months.

It was an off-an-on hunt that took probably 10 months to do because I got really discouraged from breeding those specific mons. Whenever I got the chance, I'd resume the hunt, but I got burned out quickly and decided to pursue other hunts, which were successful. Carbink actually took over 1,860 eggs to shine.

Legendaries yes, normal mons no. Shininess for normal mons is determined when you enter the hole itself, legends work like normal. Get the shiny charm before you bother.

Yup, make sure you also have roto catches. FYI stuff outside the dex still counts toward critical capture so try banking/breeding for 50 things outside the dax after you get the shiny charm.

Shiny Meloetta in a Beast Ball, as the opening effect reminds me of some vocaloid songs, as well as the "digital" look of the outer shell.

I play these games because I love collecting, so this Poipole is more valuable to me than one I'd actually SR for in game, even if it's "welfare." Never evolving it, the egg color scheme is very nice.

Well even with Cute Charm on attempts 2 and 3 I got males, so I would recommend it. I went through about 15-1600 SOS chains total. Unless you want to Timid Synch, which afaik isn't guaranteed to happen with a synch lead, and keep rolling shiny males with the possible right nature, I would Cute Charm. Sylveon works really well, I gave mine Leftovers to mitigate damage and it's immune to that 40 flat damage Dragon Rage. Bring a shitton of Leppa Berries and have a couple False Swipe users ready to switch when you need to change the lead. I changed about every 15-20 calls to be safe.

Old Sea Map was only obtainable in Japan. I guess if you want to go full legit you could find a used copy with the map unused. Unlikely as hell though.

Can the Emerald Mew be shiny though?
