Get Eevee, you most likely played the Yellow version back in the day so get something slightly different this time and enjoy the starter you weren't allowed to choose the first time. Don't worry about the exclusives, they are pointless now that we can transfer them from Go. That being said I will choose Pikachu cause I ain't no filthy commie traitor like you :)

but anon, this system is WORSE than HM's. HM's took up one moveslot. Yes, in some games you need an HM slave in your party, but in others you can just distribute them among your entire party. This invariably takes up a whole party slot to progress on your adventure.
