Kanto - Generally good, but most of it is nostalgia fuel (not a bad thing though).
Johto - Plot episodes are good, filler is total shit. League stuff is much better than Kanto.
Hoenn - Similar to Johto but less polarized. Battle Frontier is personal preference, I like it though.
Sinnoh - Plot relevant episodes are really good, filler is occasionally decent. My personal favorite arc.
Unova - Terrible all around. Becomes sort of half-semi decent when Charizard comes back.
Kalos - The most consistently good series. Greninja sort of steals the spotlight but the battles are really intense.
Alola - If viewed as a filler arc, it's not that bad. Some good humor, animation is done well during battles.
