>>36552685>>36552689Fairies are weak to Steel and Poison which are bad offensive types while Psychic types are weak to ghost which is one of the best offensive types, dark which aren't as good but still better than steel and poison and..I guess bug which fairy resists. Meanwhile, Fairy hits overall the same stuff super effectively.

Both hit steel not very effectively and sure, fire resists fairy but dark is straight up immune (inb4 muh focus miss). As for actual moves, both types are fairly lacking in the physical department and in the special one Psychic has more stuff because it's been around since Gen 1 and many legendaries are Psychic types, although the only thing Fairy is really missing now is its own version of Psyshock
