Charizard's self-explanatory being Gen 1's Non-Pikachu Poster Child and having Two Megas which is something only Mewtwo has in common, Blaziken got its Mega before the others and ended up having the most viable one despite being the first, and Greninja ended up sapping the usefulness out of the other Kalos Starters just so it could reign supreme, and then proceeded to get a buff to Water Shuriken and its Special Snowflake Anime Form in Gen 7.
