So is a fully-evolved starter just gonna be the mascot of every generation from now on? The low amount of new Pokemon in Gens 6 and 7 makes it hard for anything that isn't a starter or a legendary to stand out. (And Gen 5, despite having the highest amount of new Pokemon, defaulted to the starters and legendaries when the planned mascot, Zoroark, fell flat on its face)
