>>36559439The thing that bugs me about Lycanroc supports is that they over analyze everything, and when things don’t go as they predict they get dramatic and go in panic like possibilities outside their analysis doesn’t exist or make no sense, when really all that it take for someone to get in is to simply appeal to Sakurai.
Also yeah Lycanroc is the most shilled Pokemon in gen 7, but you have to understand the shilling is divided between 3 Pokemon, the most shilled one being Duskroc who I just can’t see working in Smash, it’s not like Duck Hunt where it can stand whenever it want or Ivysaur where it has a substitute for hands, and it would also have an awkward hurtbox, additionally they forget Greninja only became prominent in the 3rd year, and did very little as a Froakie and a Frogadier.
Also it’s funny how they consider “shifting the ace” is bad writing when it happened once before in SM in their favor, after all the build they had with Litten’s backstory and mastering Fire Fang, they shifted to Rockruff not long after, but of course that isn’t bad writing because it’s their favorite character, but continuing Litten (now Torracat’s) character development isn’t feasible in the slightest.
