Hard to say considering they did the US, France, and then Hawaii. Could be as recursive as doing Monaco or as far-out as doing Australia or Africa.
I'm personally in favor of Africa since there's a lot to work with and one can assume a big biodiversity comes with it.

I'd also take another Japanese region. Unova (NYC), Kalos (France) and Alola (Hawaii) feel like they were all designed from a shallow tourist's point of view.

this. It would be really interesting to see proper interpretations of the real world in the pokemon world, but the last three regions have been painfully shallow. Sadly, I don't think we're going back to Japan just yet. Probably exploring other continents first. I wouldn't be surprised if the next region was inspired in China. South America is also a possibility

Peru/Mexico/Columbia. Make it a combo region like Unova. Use it to introduce Inca/Aztec/Maya mythos and have the local equivalent of Cynthia for exposition.
Add Galapagos islands for post game and special events.

I don't think they will go with Asia again for now. Pokemon LGP/E just supports this theory (as in, they've already launched something recently based upon it). Since they did Hawaii I don't think it's reasonable to say they wouldn't do a game based on latin America but... something tells me they are going to pick somewhere in Europe (Greece, Portugal, Spain, Germany or even Russia) or somewhere in Africa.
