Skip all other games. And you’re allowed to swap yellow out for RB if you don’t want Pikachu but it kinda makes the game a little more interesting if you stick with him

Fuck, forgot FRLG after Emerald. I’m gonna reiterate that gen VII shiuld be skipped, it’s not even really a game. XY is mediocre but actually playable unlike sm/usm but don’t expect as much out of it as gens 1-5

the only ones that are a definite skip are vanilla versions that were improved on in every way. VC releases of the GB/C titles are more if you want to transfer them to SM/USUM and have a nostalgic romp through the originals.
