Pokken has forever changed my perspective on Chandelure. At first, I never really cared about it, but now, I think it's absolutely adorable and is one of my favorite intepretations of a pokemon in this series.

Why did they pick such a bad rep for gen 5? Haxorus, Sawk, Darmanitan, Victini, Conkeldurr -- so many great choices and they pick a fucking objectmon.

I dont think Chandelure was a bad rep, but I still upset that Sawk didn't get in. I mean look at him, his design is practically made for Pokken.

I have to admiy that when I first saw Chandelure I went full boomer and rolled my eyes. Then, I don't know if it was its typing, its absolutely ridiculously high sp.atk (back then, before megas and shit), or its top tier cry, but at some point I started to love the shit out of it. It's hands down one of my favorite pokemon now.
