decidueye, maybe but not rowlet - it doesn't even have nearly as much merch as rowlet - not that there's ever be a fair comparison considering that base form starters always get more merch and tend to have separate merch lines. And in the case where they are in the same merch lines like pokedolls, fully evolved starters are larger and more expensive and thus have less stock.

To be fair Lando is hated because of his cancerous playstyle in both formats and how he puts a hug restrain on teambuilding (along side the other genies prior to gen 7).
Incineroar while on literally over 90% of the teams, is considered healthy to the meta, not as annoying to deal with and is balanced enough to where you don’t really NEED to use it to win.
Nothing can replicate the hate genies created over the last 8 or so years.

I actually dislike Incineroar more than Landorus. Cycling Incineroar over and over is pretty braindead compared to Landorus who is generally less bulky and at least has to watch for a 4x weakness, and it's not constantly pestering you with Fake Out and Knock Off.

I actually considered trying this in 2017 because of Arcanine, but it wasn't a tutor move so barely anything good learned it. I do wonder if it's something worth exploring.

Not much really, it had a solid doubles kit to start with Fake Out and Knock-Off to mess with opponents with solid stats and Intimidate just put it into overkill cause it is a great ability to start with, people KNEW it was gonna wreck the second the HA unlocked, just not how much.

Good Stats, Good Typing, Amazing Abillity, Great Utility in Movepool, Unique Z-Move,Good Mon Concept, people can bitch all they want about MUH FURSUIT BARABAIT, but Tiger Mask is cool.

Greninja, despite being a little contrived with the sharp head-fins and certainly not as strong-seeming as would be expected of a starter final evo, is solidly a frog-based Pokémon and has a great gimmick in how it uses its tongue as a scarf.

VGC is the official format, and they have their set of rules and viability ranking, the one in OP's pic.
Smogon has his doubles format that they made up and has different rules and is on no way official.

How will they conceivably nerf Incineroar? It's pretty clear with Intimidate it's just too good. It was pretty good without it. Maybe they'll replace it with another decent ability? I don't want them to change base stats or anything though.

yeah it's the same thing as the real VGC19 format. If yuo go on SD and pick VGC19 Sun Series you will be playing the official format wich is why their viability rankings reflect the usage of pokemons in battle spot.
Smogon's VCG19 doesn't exist, it's just VGC19 plaied in another place, there's literally zero difference between that and the official format

While this is technically correct, it could be argued that moderation teams and hack checks are different (smogon is a simulator, and as such has no concerns about hacks, etc). Also, VGC 19, the ACTUAL vgc 19 takes place on official nintendo consoles, not on pc.

Yup. Smogon is primarily built for singles,and 6v6 singles at that. They do delve into stuff like Doubles OU and 2v2 Doubles (not the same as VGC, think 1v1 but just 2v2) but the primary tiers are singles
