This is kind of a mistake. I think the correct approach would be:
1 - XP is only gained if the opposing pokemon had it's HP dropped to around 1/4 of it's max HP
2 - Only the pokemon on the field gets the exp, this iteration ignores exp.share.
>party wide exp.share
This is a HUGE mistake, not only it makes lvl requirements meaningless but it also makes runs way too easy. A better approach would be:
1 - Make it so the player can amount up to 5 exp. share items
2 - Make it so exp.share shares the XP of the pokemon on the field with 1 pokemon bellow it on the party (and if that pokemon also happens to have a exp.share of it's own he also shares the amount gained with 1 pokemon below it and so on).

This isn't so bad.
>poison not lingering after battles
This is just boring. But I feel like gen 1 could've done it better: make it so poison DoT ticks after every x seconds instead of steps.

Now THIS is bullshit. Just undo this crap ffs.
