This is a thinly veiled shitpost but honestly I'd like a Pokemon game set in the Rockies.
>Starting town is a comfy mountain town, snow gently falling as you walk through the first route.
>Early game ice-mons.
>Go from comfy snowy area > snowy forest > cave > ravine > plains > arid plains > back to the mountains > harsher mountain climbing, with fierce winds and heavy snowfall
>E4 is located at the peak of the highest mountain in the game.

I was thinking Ice-themed Champ (complete with hail team), with the first gym being a Fire gym located at a hotspring. I just really like the contrast.
Rock as the final gym would be sick as hell though. Would probably focus on entry hazards and making the player's life hell.

When do we get an American region that's not the East coast or Hawaii? If they made another game set in Orre and fleshed it out more, I'd accept that as an Arizona stand-in, but a game based on California would be unacceptable.

(this way all three starters get a chance early to shine as well as a counter to them)

I'd be fine with any of the spinoff game regions getting reworked into a main game region. Orre would be sweet, but I'd take a Fiore or an Almia in the same vein.

I want a pokemon game based on lewis and clarks expedition to the west. Even a spin off like detective pikachu or i would even take a pokemon snap sequel losely based on it. It has been a dream of mine since i was a kid if anyone knows an ROMs that are similar or something let me know.

Actually did have an idea for an early bug, if only because I'm a sucker for the type.

To make up for the garbage typing, I'd pictured it having a signature status move that freezes. It'd only be 40% accuracy or so, so Smeargle can't use incredibly well (though I'm sure people would try), but with compound eyes as an ability this hypothetical Pokemon could probably make it work.
