One was comparing the leaks to existing species and saying they were fake even though literally the same guy has final say on every design the other is just flat out denial in the fairly reasonable assumption that most will be fake.
One is like reading Shakespeare and assuming the next Shakespeare thing ISN'T Shakespeare just because the writing is similar while the other is believing someone saying they have a long lost play written by him is quite likely lying as you would.
