Was ANYONE's first reaction to a Pokemon the same as it is now? I feel like first impressions aren't usually as strong in Pokemon as they are in other things. Does anyone else feel this way?

I don't know if it's just me, but I can't think of a single Pokemon that I had similar feelings to when I first saw it and when I see it now.

Vanilluxe is unironically one of my favorite pokemon. There's no comparison between screwsperm and ice cream pokemon. The issue here isn't pokemon based on objects.

The only time I've had a strong negative reaction to new Pokemon was with the gen 4 cross-Gen evos.
Not a huge fan of gen 5 designs but I don't hate them and I liked most of gen 6 and 7.
I still think Nut-on-a-ditto is the worst designed Pokemon ever.

i'm not saying that is bad, but i just don't understand what it is, and usually designs tend to tell me what they are just by looking at them
