Why would they spend all that time when they could just stick a pikachu in its place as placeholder?
Why fully animate and create such an oddly shaped little dude for a placeholder when you've already got hundreds of models pre made?

Not from my perspective anyway. It's always funny to obliterate Unovabortions with when they pick at other Gen's Pokémon but I don't personally mind ANY Pokémon.

Obviously have my preferences, but I don't dislike any of them.

I didn't like the Alola starters, but they're growing on me. I've realized they're not for me, but other people like them, and at least they're unique.
