Caught him in Emerald during my first playthrough of it, and he has been a part of my main (my cross-game post-game team that is my long term main team) since then. I still have a Battle Frontier battle recording of him on Emerald, and he's been in Emerald, FireRed, Colosseum, Gale of Darkness, Diamond, Platinum, Battle Revolution, HeartGold, Black, Black 2, Y, AlphaSapphire, Moon and UltraMoon. I caught him when I was 13, and I'm currently 26, so he's been with me half of my entire life.
I still remember the days before Ability Capsule where he was running Synchronize + Lum Berry which I always loved when someone tried to Will-o-Wisp/Toxic etc him. Trace is definitely more fun though, and Mega is an absolute necessity since he's my bro.
