while dragon isn't a broken type, when you give 130 BP attack with high offensive stats with no resist except steel, dragons dent everything. steel isn't even a check because most dragons have access to powerful fire type attacks.
there's nothing wrong with fairy having an immunity to dragon. however, combine that with the highest average special defensive stats in the game, along with a defensive type that is weak to only 2 uncommon weak offensive types, and you have a recipe for disaster. that's not even considering bullshit like pixelate and fairy aura
you also create a problem where any dragon that is capable of dealing with these threats is OP. dragalge is about 20 points of speed from being uber
