Another weird fossil one.
This one was apparently inspired by the Deinocheirus, who we used to only have the arm bones of.
With the fakemon though, it turns out when they revive it that it was entirely made of arms to begin with.
That’s the type of insanity I like in pokemon.

i absolutely love this idea! it really plays into the whole thing about people getting misconceptions about fossils. it's like the reverse of the shrink-wrapping trend of older paleoartists. would love to see more like this. perhaps a fearsome synapsid jaw that people in a museum describe like it's a mighty reptile, but revives into a cute and fuzzy pup.

I'm creating a new trio of starters with a different type triangle: ground, ice and steel.
I did this choice only for creative purpose. Creating starter with always the same type triangles became a little stale for me, so I decided to use other types.
The snake is ground type and it becomes a ground/dark horned viper.
The cat is ice type and it becomes a shaman feline sort of things, ice/psychic.
The armadillo is steel type, but I'm not sure of what its final forms will look like and what secodary type will it gain.

I'm trying to do a Fairy/Ghost book-themed ghost bat line.
The first stage is based on bookmarks and dog ears while its evolution has book cover wings that collects pages to make itself look more bulky when it folds up its wings. Thoughts?

Its colour scheme ended up looking like Mienshao
