If this game sells well, kiss goodbye to any form of challenge and innovation for your "real 2019 game". You'd be telling GF this Let's Go shit is what you want, and you know GF doesn't like to take risks and make efforts.
The only time they did (and not a great risk by the way) was with Gen 5, and they interpreted its "low" sales (without taking into account that the games came out for a console on the end of its life and other multifactorial reasons) as they had to casualize the games even further giving us the shitshow of XY.
So the only time they did the right thing, they backed up because of sales, the same can happen in the other way.

I should be the biggest Pokémon nostalgiafaggot of all time, this shitty franchise changed and shaped my life and I love how it was at the Pokémania era. But it is precisely because of that that I want it to evolve and be the best it can be.
