OP here. Well yours is more faithful to the original. I'm not great at sculpting myself as you can probably tell. I also made the nut using my 3d printer.

I didn't have a nut of the correct size/thickness. Also a metal nut would have been too heavy for a lightclay/foamclay body. The 3d printed nut is almost empty inside, so it's not heavy at all and I could make a hole to mount the eye.

Plus it's funnier to 3d model stuff.

Is that that kind of clay that becomes soft and foamy once it dries? I tried once, it's hell to use it, but there are some youtubers doing crazy stuff with it.
