I've attempted a living dex multiple times throughout the years, but I always give up, move to something else, then come back to do it again from scratch a few years later.
This time it's X. I was planning on just doing the Kalos dex for now. Goign for all variants because why not. Thinking I'll get the rest on BW2 or ORAS, then USUM for Gen 7.

I like OmegaRuby so much, I'm actually currently being Black 2 so I can migrate my pokemon from Gen 3, 4, and 5, to OmegaRuby.
I used the wondercard action replay codes to get the event pokemon in Gen 5, and just simple action replay in Gen 4 to get the event pokemon in SS/D/Pt. So I think I'm gonna be close.
I have not completed Y yet, but I do own it. I just think Kalos sucks, nothing about playing up to the 2nd badge has made me want to continue.

However, buying a DS lite and B2 last week? This is good. Sucks I reset my white save a long time ago. My only old save I had was Firered. Out of all the games I mentioned and you can probably see.

Finished gens 1 through 6 a very long time ago, but I still need to finish gen 7.

It's my main motivation for beating USUM, which I still haven't beaten because it's so fucking boring, playing it feels like a chore.

Never actually bothered to try and most of the time it would have to be what you can actually just get in game as I normally play emulators. I think I'll become demotivated if I spend most of the time injecting starters or events.

No, as I'm not a noob. Did one in each Gen to start with so within a week of them releasing it was done as much as possible without using 3rd party shit.

Since Gen 6 began I am working on an all forme and language living Dex but the living Dex itself is done save Zeraora due to it not being officially available for me to obtain as of yet.

Not only do I have a living dex, I have every single form as well, including gender differences. Only thing I dont have are Hatchus which I dont give a shit about, Spindas because I'm not that autistic, or shinies because I dont want to go through al that.

Fuck that. I just get the lowest form of a family line and evolve them so all stages can be recorded on the pokedex. A livingdex takes way too much effort, time and space.
There are a few exceptions though, if I ever find I have duplicates or if I like certain stages too much to evolve them.

Had one from XY to SM up until ULTRA decided to do that "let's add non-event mons mid-gen" move, cause nigga i ain't getting a Ultra.

Making it in XY was fun, but part of that was that XY had A LOT of Native mons and it just made SM into a Checklist and made EVENT MONS a chore of "Oh i better look up Pokémon News every fucking day so i don't miss when Marshadow has a distro.", so yeah, lacking the USUM mons, might complete it again next Gen if it doesn't look like a trash fire.
