>>36612303I don't think they're saying that they refuse to like them because they're shilled, but rather that they'd prefer not to be lumped in with all the people who like that Pokemon because they're shilled. Maybe a better example would be "I like Lucario but I prefer not to mention it, because the immediate assumption is that I'm a furry".
Anyway, I like most "shilled" mons. Pikachu, Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, Incineroar. Zoroark, if you can count that. Like I lot of unpopular mons too, like Electivire, Klefki, Rhyperior, Dedenne, Garbodor. I tend to mention liking those more often in "favorite pokemon" discussions, since there are enough people who like the shilled ones already.
