Also, to head of any nonsense arguments, the Poké Ball doesn't have full functionality as a Joycon, and can only be used with LGP/LGE.

Unless you are purely a collecter and not even buying the games, if you're buying it, you're buying it for Mew, not the Poké Ball.

Once they turn off the event (which they've said they will probably do) there will be no further sales retail and in general you can bet there will be no second hand market for them because no one will care about it. In 2022 you'll probably be able to grab one for 10 bucks as a collectible even still in box.
