Thing is its obvious that with Lets Go they want to attract new players, casuals and genwunners and its also obvious that they dont want to get those new fans to loose them with gen 8.
So how are they going to attract those people to the 2019 game? You guessed it: more Kanto nostalgia. Probably even stronger than in SM/USUM (Take a shot every time someone says Kanto in those games and you'll be drunk before getting to Akala island). Its already happening with this dittonut.
Wont be surprised if we'll see more Kanto forms/hybrids/evos and of course more references.
