Not having wild battles are the least of these games problems.

These are the first hd and the art style is soulless and plastic.

No abilities or held items

It's a $60 console release and they are going to give us as much content as XY.

There is no advancement here.

X/Y are decent games and shouldn't be compared to LGP/LGE at all. Especially not with all of the quality of life improvements they brought. Had a lot of fixing needed but so too did every other game just in case you hadn't noticed.

Like all the bugs in Gen 1 and 2 and the level bullshit in Gen1 and even worse in Gen 2, and so on.

They literally could have just updated the graphics of FireRed and LeafGreen and I would have bought it, but Let's Go will be the first main Pokemon games that I'll skip. There's just nothing there for me that wouldn't be better played on basically any other Kanto game.

I wouldn't say I'm boycotting it, I'm just supremely uninterested.

You mean in GO.

All of that leading up to this being a Ranger/Manaphy type gift - a Gen 8 mon unlocked and sent to a Gen 8 ready game by a Gen 7 game.

Furthermore, since these games don't have any planned connectivity moving forward (they keep being wishy washy when asked about it which ALWAYS means it's not happening when it's Game Freak doing it and they don't want to say it's not happening- especially when you're only a few months from release and they're still being wishy washy meaning it's definitely not happening because it's too late in development to still be "thinking" about it).

So... Even if it were actually present in Trash Go, you'll be able to capture it in the Gen 8 games as well because formes are one thing but you know they're not going to lock an entire species to the one set of games and GO.
