but seriously, what's with the revisionist history of him being a sudden "predictable pick", almost no one cared about him save for his fans and those popular pokemonfags were "friendly" to him until they threaten their "spot"

hate to tell you but that didn't really stop the decidueye hype or start up the incineshit one. decidudeye was still most wanted after Ivys return especially when greninja and squirtal were in at the same time. here's why people are screaming baracat right now, "vergeben". quick note to keep in mind, even after vege deconfirmed decidueye people still wanted him over roar. but roar only started to pick hype from the smashfags who only care about being right than having a particular favorite when vege finally stated that roaor was the new fighter. so if you're woundering why roar is getting even remotely hyped up it's vegeeman who's causing it.
