There's shitloads of pure electric types. This shit is literally just Electabuzz in a fur suit. If it had an unique typing like part fighting or dark then it would probably stop being the worst addition in the entire franchise.

i can kind of understand deoxys, or even clefairy and other space pokemon i guess, but how on earth can someone argue a man made pokemon is an ultra beast? that's pretty much the most mundane pokemon origin, regular pokemon are more mysterious and unknown than stuff like mewtwo or castform.

they wholly cover their worlds in most cases too. i would have preferred if there were whole ultra-ecosystems, with evo lines and different species for each world all with some shared design traits. little fleshed out sections of world would have been more fun than just infinite corridors with a strong pokemon at the end. hell, what if they had the wild landscape of some of the worm holes randomly generate so it actually felt like you were visiting a new place each time?

yeah, hopefully not, visiting alternate dimensions would be a pretty huge concept to just sweep under the rug so i'm sure we'll see it explored again in some form, hopefully more in depth. UBs were a great concept but pretty shallow execution.
