pokemon could do that, but aside from dex entries, some mewtwo backstory stuff, RSE and DPPl's lovecraftian coding, some team plasma stuff, some 4 musketeers stuff, AZ's genocide, and the lusamine ice sculptures doesn't seem to have any desire to do so.
Which isn't nothing, but is often hamfisted and when it is subtle still does a lot of telling not showing.
basically, they're throwing token bones rather than actually trying, and are bad writers.
